TERRY LINDSEY

Terry Lindsey, born in Connecticut, has been drawing and painting since childhood. Following her education and marriage she moved to Vermont to raise her family. With interests from horses and children to landscapes and still lifes, she presents each subject with a skillful application of a layering technique used by the old Dutch masters. She also works in a number of sizes, from small artistic gems to landscapes several feet square.

I’ve chosen the wonderful Montana Winter and the sweet First Blue to illustrate this. The Millbrook Gallery & Antiques has another application of her work. She acquired an antique corner cupboard from Denmark, and painted an adorable foal “Four Days Old.” I would also show the antique chest from Sweden with a stable scene from Aiken, NC, but I bought it!
